What do you do when you’re flying and absolutely dread the thought of the enclosed, pressurized cabin? If you’re Anjanette Macioce, you don’t let your freak flag fly. Instead, she defiantly dons all black, flying her movementwear from Paris to Washington. “This is my protest against the state of the airline industry,” Macioce told The Washington Post. The makeup artist often pairs her eye-black with punk makeup, including braids and a scalloped nose and lips. “I’m a guerilla makeup artist,” she explained.
Macioce has inspired a number of followers — both within the airline industry and beyond — to wear all black for work or pleasure. What is your favorite disguise? Tell us in the comments below.
