Talk about an all-star cast of rappers who’ve been in and out of trouble with the law.
Dallas rapper Yella Beezy is currently jailed on a variety of weapons charges, according to multiple outlets including Billboard, and on sexual assault charges.
According to the Dallas Morning News, Beezy was arrested around 11 p.m. Thursday near his home in Dallas.
A jail booking record shows that he was booked for one count of making terroristic threats and another for making terroristic threats.
The Morning News also reported that he is also charged with four counts of sexual assault, with two of those listed as aggravated sexual assault.
A former rising star in the rap world, Beezy has his most recent hit “Say Ahh” pop up on A&E’s “Unsung.”
Police say a woman in northwest Dallas told police on Tuesday that she had been sexually assaulted at her home by two black men. When police searched Beezy’s property, they found two assault rifles and 30 or more rounds of ammunition.
At least one of the firearms was reported stolen.
A 21-year-old man also has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated sexual assault.
No one from the rapper’s camp was immediately available for comment on Friday night.
