American singer Chris Daughtry has postponed two US concert dates after the sudden death of his daughter.
The 38-year-old, best known for his 2010 US reality TV series, had the dates for another show postponed, US media say.
Daughtry’s nine-year-old daughter Isabella died in Ohio on Wednesday.
He posted a photo of his daughter on social media, saying he and his wife were “devastated” but “will honour [Isabella’s] wishes” by postponing a planned show.
Rocker Chris Cornell, a close friend of the Daughtrys, was found dead on Tuesday at a hotel in Detroit hours after a Detroit show.
A cause of death has not yet been established, but it is thought suicide was a likely scenario.
Cornell, who battled drug addiction for many years, died on the same day as Aretha Franklin, who died at the age of 76.
Sir Elton John and Bruno Mars have both paid tribute to the Bee Gees’ singer who died last week.
